Lois Bender

Lois Bender is a visual artist, adjunct art professor, watercolor instructor, and curator. She has a BA from Hunter College, and an MFA from Boston University. She has had a career serving retail, marketing, licensing, cultural, and corporate organizations. She also was an adjunct art professor at multiple colleges, and directed two shows at the New York Artists Circle. Her artwork has been displayed in numerous group shows and three solo shows.  

Bender finds continuous inspiration in nature and its various displays. She explores ideas across different mediums such as drawing, watercolor, photography, and printmaking, along with the blending of them. Through her art she reveals the interconnections of DNA, genealogy and etymology have brought passion, art, nature and gardens, to promote the advocacy that humanity must protect, appreciate and love Nature’s beauty and essence.
