Joyce Rezendes

Joyce Rezendes, MA, MFA, studied with Richard Diebenkorn, Nathan Oliveira, and Saburō Hasegawa at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. Art historian, curator, lecturer, moderator, archivist, and artist, Rezendes is also President and founder of Art in Perpetuity, a non-profit organization designed to care for artists’ estates. Exhibited and recognized through solo and group shows, both in the United States and abroad, her work is in numerous public and private collections including the H.F. Johnson Museum of Modern Art at Cornell, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, IBM, AT&T, and Smith Barney. Rezendes has lived in Manhattan since 1978.
