Blossom Verlinksy

Blossom Verlinsky, b.1937, New York City, is an Artist who photographs, draws and paints with watercolors and acrylics. She earned a B.S. degree in Geology and Art from Brooklyn College and a MFA from Brooklyn College and New York University.

Her interest in the natural world and history has inspired her recent paintings - using patterns and colors to create tactile recollections of precious stones and matter related to events. Using folded linen to emphasize the strata of retained and recalled memories and impressions.

Blossom's paintings have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in New York City and Florida. Her paintings are in numerous private collections.
